Dar es Salaam. The Tanzania Agricultural Development Bank (TADB) has received an award recognising it as the leading financial institution in supporting poultry farming projects in the country.
The award was presented during the 10th Tanzania Poultry Show 2026, held on October 16 and 17 at Ubungo Plaza in Dar es Salaam.
The recognition highlights TADB’s contribution to supporting stakeholders in the poultry sector through financial services aimed at boosting production, expanding businesses and contributing to Tanzania’s economic development.
Through its financing initiatives, the bank continues to support the development of the agricultural sector by improving access to financial services for farmers, livestock keepers and fishers.
TADB also remains committed to strengthening value chains across agriculture, livestock and fisheries, with the aim of promoting sustainable growth and improving the sector’s contribution to the national economy.
The Tanzania Poultry Show brings together stakeholders in the poultry industry, providing a platform to showcase developments, promote business opportunities and strengthen collaboration within the sector.
TADB operates under the slogan “Kilimo Kinabenkika,” reflecting its focus on providing financial solutions to support agricultural development.
